Finishes and wood species
Applied in the workshop, in a controlled booth. The door arrives ready to hang.
Lacquer
Matte or satin, any color in the RAL or NCS charts, or matched to a sample. Opaque, silky, with a tension you cannot get with a brush on site. Open-pore lacquer on oak keeps the grain visible under the color.
Stain
A chart of stains per species: warm tones, wood tones, contemporary grays, black. The structure of the wood stays visible, the grain is underlined.
Varnish
Matte or satin. Protects against daily scratches and wear and keeps a soft feel. Natural matte varnish on oak or ash is our most ordered finish.
Brushed
The soft spring wood is brushed out, the hard grain stays proud. The door gains relief under the hand. Available on fir, Nordic fir and oak, alone or combined with a stain or whitewash.
Whitewash, patina, aged
Whitewash on fir or ash for a Scandinavian look. Patina and aged stain for the Heritage collection, with optional distressing and wood pegs.
Color matching
Send a paint chip, a wallpaper sample, a fabric or a favorite object. We match it.
