More than 30 years of interior doors, in the Vosges mountains of France.
Chablais Interiors doors are crafted in France, in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges regional park, by a workshop that has been building interior doors for more than 30 years. Twenty-three people in production, an integrated site from rough lumber to finished door, and a design office that moves from a sketch to a shop drawing in days.
The human element is at the center of the making. Each door passes through hands that have been doing this for years, and the workshop trains apprentices so the next generation is already on the floor.
Sustainable by habit, not by slogan. Species selection, kiln drying and every material process are monitored. Materials are chosen for their environmental quality. Offcuts from production go back into the glued-laminated components, not into the dumpster.
At the crossroads of know-how is where innovation happens: 3D textured faces, CNC and laser engraving, invisible doors, photo-realistic printing, stainless inlays, brushed and aged surfaces, and finishes from gloss to selective matte-and-gloss. Traditional joinery and digital tools, in the same building.
