Chablais Interiors brings to the US a type of interior door that is hard to find here: a true joiner’s door. The stiles and rails are glued-laminated hardwood, the panels are solid or veneered on a stable core, the leaf is 1-9/16″ (39 mm) thick, and every door is built one at a time to the size you give us. Standard 80″ and 96″ heights, or anything in between and beyond.

Our workshop sits in the Vosges mountains of eastern France, where the same team has been building interior doors for more than 30 years. Twelve wood species, five collections, and finishes matched to any RAL, NCS or paint chip you send us.

Heritage

Raised panels, divided lites, ogee moldings. The classic door, built properly, in solid or stabilized panels.

Flat panels, clean chamfered profiles. The warmth of real wood without ornament.

Flush

Veneered flush doors with metal inlays, oculus windows, engraving or 3D textures. Fire-rated and acoustic options.

Atelier

Wood meets brushed stainless, laminate and engraving. Thick 2 mm veneers. For interiors with a point of view.

Designer Series

Limited editions designed each year with a painter, a graphic designer or an architect.

Bespoke

When custom is not enough. Oversize, arched, pivot, hotel projects. Our design office builds what you draw.

Mortise-and-tenon or doweled frames, laminated stiles that do not warp, 3 or 4 adjustable hinges per door.

Lacquer in any RAL or NCS color, stains, matte or satin varnish, brushed, whitewashed, aged. We color-match paint samples.

Prehung with jamb and casing, surface-mounted frames, pocket door kits, flush invisible frames, matching closet doors, transoms.
