Comfort: acoustic and thermal
A door that closes softly on a seal keeps the sound in the room and the cold out of the hallway.
Acoustic perimeter seals
Brown, white, black or clear. Softer closing, less noise transmission. Standard on all our frames.
Insulated core
The leaf is filled with a thermal insulator. For doors to a cold space: basement, attic, garage, mechanical room. A 3-point lock is required to keep the leaf flat.
Automatic drop seal
A concealed seal in the bottom rail drops when the door closes and blocks air at the floor.
Aluminum sill with gasket
The door closes against a low aluminum sill with a compressed seal.
Wood sill with gasket
Same principle, in wood matching the floor or the door.
