Hardware and handles
3 or 4 hinges per door, so the leaf stays true for decades.
Hardware completes the door. We install 3 or 4 hinges per door depending on size and weight. Handles and locks are selected to the same standard, and US hardware you already own can usually be fitted. Send us the spec.
Hinges
- Overlapping hinging (rabbeted edge): the leaf overlaps the frame, hiding the gap and allowing precise adjustment. Hinges: turlupet style in polished iron, aged brass or polished brass; modern polished brass; straight nickel or zinc; Exacta 3D adjustable with cover caps.
- Flush hinging (square edge): a cleaner, more contemporary look, door and frame in one plane. Butt hinges: universal, turlupet, straight stainless.
- Invisible hinges for flush doors.
Locks
- Functions: passage latch, lever only, privacy (thumb-turn), latch + deadbolt with non-projecting latch bolt for a clean edge, cylinder 1-point or 3-point
- Spindles: 7 mm or 8 mm (German / Swiss standard)
- Options: keypad, electric strike, magnetic lock (no battery, no wiring, the latch disappears when the door is open)
